This is a simulation of the well-known game. On the board you see the throw of two dice, the position where you started and the position where you end up. VUstat records the numbers of turns, the number of throws, how often you visit a position(street) and how often you passed Go. Every street shows how many visits you have made, as a count or as a percentage.
Rules of the game Here, briefly, are the most important rules of the game. - You start at the Start, also called Go. - If you throw a double you have to throw again. If you throw three consecutive doubles you have to go to jail. If you enter jail, you can choose between paying a fine or throwing three times. In this simulation you always pay the fine.
Chance and Community Chest cards With the sixteen Chance cards there are seven that influence your position on the board: 1)Go on to Illinois avenue 2)Travel to Pennsylvania railroad 3)Go on to the start 4)Go on to Boardwalk 5)Tree places backwards. 6)Go direct to jail, 7)Go on to St Charles Place. With Community Chest there are three cards that influence your position on the board: 1)Go to jail 2)Go to Mediterranean Avenue, 3)Go to the start.
Tempo bar With the tempo bar you can change the speed of the simulation before and during the simulation. With Step you can track the experiment step by step. Fast is designed to enable you to create lots of data.
Interrupt/Continue With the space bar you can interrupt or resume the simulation.
Percentages The number of times you visit a street can be shown as a number or as percentage. |
