Statistical data are called data. The data are arranged in rows and columns of the data table: each cell contains a given datum. On the top row are the variables: in the first column lists the tracking numbers. So a column is associated with a specific variable. All data from one row form a record. A star (*) in a cell indicates that there is a missing datum. In calculations such missing information does not count . You can make a cell active by left-clicking. The cell is blue. You can also pass by the rows and columns with the arrow keys. At the top of the screen next to the button bar, is information about the current variable. At the bottom of the screen the number of records listed is shown. The menu options and buttons can be used for editing and analyzing the data. If the cursor is on a tracking number, and you click with the right mouse button, then a row with the record becomes active. You obtain a working menu for inserting and deleting records. If the cursor is in a cell and you click with the right mouse button then the column with variable becomes active. You obtain a working menu with the active variable.
